"The Remains" The third Artesia series begins with the Thessid-Golan Empire standing astride a vast swath of the Middle Kingdoms; only at the siege of Collwyn were their plans of conquest disrupted. Artesia has now openly claimed the throne of Dara Dess, and she and her captains and allies are in pursuit of the retreating Thessid vanguard. But wary of battle with a trapped and desperate enemy, she tries to make her first victory as a Queen one won with words, and not with swords. Included in this issue is a short prologue following King Bran's head as Urgrayne takes him to meet her Three Sisters.
